New Workshop Helps MLSs Manage Consolidation

Within the real estate industry, Multiple Listing Service (MLS) organizations are facing one of the biggest game changers they have ever experienced.

MLS mergers and consolidations are altering the real estate landscape for hundreds of thousands of real estate brokers and agents. In fact, this was considered the second biggest trend in the 2017 Swanepoel Trend Report, annual research of the largest changes impacting the residential real estate brokerage industry.

However, consolidations can be complicated as MLS executives and leadership manage politics, the blending of services and staff, determining how money flows and more. For many small- and medium-sized MLSs that don’t have the financial resources to hire a consultant, they have little opportunity to explore their options, including the possibility that a consolidation is not necessarily always the best solution.

For the first time, T3 Sixty is offering the MLS Workshop to help MLSs learn about their consolidation options. It will be held on Tuesday, September 12 – the day before the 2017 Council of Multiple Listing Services (CMLS) conference – at the JW Marriott in Austin. This one-day workshop is not part of the conference but hosted separately in association with CMLS.

The MLS Workshop will cover T3 Sixty’s 7-step consolidation roadmap and provide best practices based on over 50 previously handled consolidations. It is custom-designed for chief executives of Realtor associations and MLSs, Presidents/President-Elects, MLS Chairs and MLS Directors.

As part of the workshop, attendees will receive a comprehensive 70-page MLS Consolidation Workbook, a Consolidation Roadmap with milestones, and various proven MLS checklists, to-do lists and report templates to help them navigate the process.

To ensure personal hands-on support, attendance is limited to only 50 MLS organizations and will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Learn more here.
